Any action to be taken inside or outside a restored or unrestored historical building is subject to the permission of the Conservation Board and the Conservation Implementation and Control Offices (KUDEB).

Accepted Answer

Adding floors, changing the construction system, demolishing and rebuilding if the building is still standing, and raising the eaves and roof level are not allowed in the cultural properties that need to be protected. If the ground floor is smaller than the floor area of the building, it can be allowed to be completed. In addition, if the lowest corner level is below the ground floor level, permission can be obtained to build a basement floor.

Approved survey, restitution restoration projects, title deed, ground survey, Iski approval letter and canal project, document from the headman stating that the building is empty, consent of the owner regarding the use of electricity and water, static-mechanical-electrical projects in order to obtain a construction permit from the municipality. , project responsibility statement, room records, office registration documents, IMM records, TUS statement, contractor and site manager must be appointed from the project authors.In special cases: the plan is quoted, the tree revision sheet, if there is a road abandonment, the transactions are made. Compliance with fire regulations is not required from the fire department in residences.

The institution that decides on the restoration technique of the building is the Council of Monuments. In our current projects, they decide to restore wooden structures as wood. They can only allow basement floors to be built as reinforced concrete if it is suitable for the zoning situation. Since they decide on these issues according to the structure, you can consult the conservation committee to which the building is affiliated, together with the photographs of the building.

You can learn about the decisions taken regarding the building by examining the files in the relevant Municipality and the Conservation Board. If there is a decision about the demolition or illegal addition, it has been processed in the files.
 
When you apply to the Municipality for reasons such as maintenance of your building, the file of the building is examined during the complaint or inspection.
It is highly likely that official institutions will request the owner to correct the detected unauthorized applications.
